ZALIZNIAK
PUBLIC
SPACE
We designed Zalizniak in Pokrovsk as a versatile outdoor space for nearby schools, universities, and the community. It serves as a venue for outdoor classes, city events like performances and film screenings, and a welcoming area for casual visitors.

The project was a collaborative effort supported by local residents and the city administration. Key features include reclaimed materials, such as rusty arches from the Pokrovsk mine and used bricks from old local houses, honoring the town’s industrial heritage. This approach highlights the potential of raw materials rarely used in Ukrainian public spaces.
