RIVER
Once a key industrial hub for the Soviet state, Kostyantynivka’s city center has become a deserted space since its industrial decline. To help revitalize such areas, we employed tactical urbanism, focusing on a fragment of a destroyed motorway bridge along a pedestrian route connecting two parts of the city.

Our primary task was to design a descent to the water, utilizing the steep concrete foundation left from the bridge. The space was intentionally open and integrated into the natural landscape. The design allows visitors to experience the river from multiple levels: first, observing the industrial skyline from above, and then gradually descending to a pier right above the water, creating a layered and immersive connection to the environment.
