Having lost the weight of tanks with water, the tower actually ceased to be water pressure, turning into a lighthouse. Indeed, this may be the answer to the metaphorical search for the form of interaction between the building and the city - a sign of the way, which is defined by the strategy of development of Zhytomyr.

Turning to the physical space, we become obvious limitations of window openings and the accessibility of the spire as points of contemplation. The idea of ​​a glass dome becomes an answer to a number of practical and conceptual issues. Safe observation deck with a 360 degree panorama, a glow in the dark is a guide, it's a good reason not to get past, to start interacting with the building. Continuing this idea, we propose to place a media installation in the case of a spire, which, through moving characters, will display the priorities of the city for the program.

The crocheted dome's vertical becomes an ideological rod that is strong enough to organize and reinforce every other filling of the tower. The tourist center on the ground floor will complement the network of places to be visited by each of the guests of Zhytomyr or interested cities. The spaces between these floors, dynamic and multifunctional, can take thematic events, defined by the tower, become small exhibition halls or temporarily take a museum collection.

The nature of modern reality is not limited to a physical presence, a sign of time has long been the presence of the Internet and social connectivity. We do not see the development of a tower without an appropriate internet platform, which will promote the information and attraction of people, will provide additional "virtual" services. Here the main ideas are transparent reservation of premises for events, access to high-quality video panoramas, online radio towers.

The project implemented in this way will have the necessary life and will be able to stimulate the tourism industry, support urban cultural initiatives as a platform, and will allow to feel the fabric of the city of Zhytomyr from the altitude and signal the current directions of the municipality, making this process more transparent.

In the urban context, we create preconditions for the transformation of the street of Pushkin. She already has the potential to turn into a pedestrian (within the boundaries between the tower and the Old Boulevard), which is convenient for walks and rest areas. Objects such as Philharmonic, Music School and House of Officers reinforce its public function. This makes it possible to create a comfortable microclimate for the development of modern public space, with an emphasis on cultural practices.
