The Chernobyl tragedy occurred more than 25 years ago, but its consequences will remind people about the reverse side of technological progress for a long time. Interest in the historical circumstances of the accident and distinctive aesthetics of the Exclusion Zone attracts tourists from Ukraine and all over the world. Under these circumstances, a museum of Chernobyl will help people to get centralized access to information and works of art that reflect different points of view on the accident and its consequences. Along with improvement of tourism the number of visitors would increase, thus bringing revenue from land that is not actually used, and also providing profitability of the the object.
Concept:
Historical process, as the spiral movement, appears in a sequence of exhibition spaces. Statistical data regarding the effects of the disaster laid the foundation for the construction of the facade pattern that meets the chronological sequence of exposure. The entire volume of flows and is formed shell that integrates all functional blocks.
